FABULOUS PRIZE TO BE WON

If you are a follower of my blog you know that I love the group Let's Scrap.  Most of my layouts and cards are made for that site.  During the month of October Cheri is having a great challenge.  If you become a new member of Let's Scrap or are already a member but have never posted a layout or card in their gallery then you have a chance to win a fabulous prize.  All you have to do is make a card or layout using a Let's Scrap sketch and post it in the gallery between Oct. 1st - Oct. 31st. and you will get your name in the draw for this prize of 5 stacks of DCWV paper.  Here is what the paper looks like.
.

Also if you do post a layout/card let them know that I encouraged you to post and my name will go into another draw and I could win 5 stacks of their paper too. So why not give the challenge a try.  You only have to do the one LS sketch based card or layout for your chance to win.  While your there check you might want to check out all the great groups and challenges we have going on.  There may be other challenges you want to do so that you can get in on that draw too.  Click on the word Let's Scrap and it will take you to the site to sign up.  Once you are signed up go to the forum to check out the challenge.
Hope to see you there.

My New Grandson

I wanted to share a couple of things with my blogging friends.  First I wanted to let you all know that my Grandson, Colton Jason Orr arrived on Sept. 17th, at 10:pm, weighing 9lbs 3oz, and measuring 22 inches.  He is such a sweet little guy and I can't believe how alert and happy he has been right from the very beginning. Here is a photo of him taken at 2 days old

As far as scrapbooking I seem to have been in a real slump with it lately.  I think someone stole my Mojo and I would really like them to give it back. LOL.  Three weeks ago I started a layout on the birth of my Granddaughter Ava.. My plan had been to get caught up on her layouts so when Colton arrived I would be able to get right at his. But I didn't finish it until today.  Hopefully I will find my mojo soon and will get back to scrapping like I used to.

I did this layout for a Julie Bonnor sketch challenge over at Let's Scrap. The flourishes and doily were from some wonderful items I was gifted by Enmarc Crafts.  I decided to use some micro glitter on the flourishes but not sure I will do that again.  I have glitter all over me, my floors and my furniture.  I think I will be months trying to clean it all up. LOL
Happy scrapping everyone and I hope to be back soon with some more layouts.
