I hope everyone is having a fantastic National Scrapbooking Day. I have been very busy today entering challenges at Lets Scrap
I still have a few to do before tomorrow night and then hopefully I will have a chance to show you some of what I did.

I just wanted to take a second to tell you about a contest Studio Calico is having. They are giving away 2 free - 6 month subscriptions. What you have to do is go to Studio Calico and register. Once you have done that then go to this link and tell them I referred you (my user name there is Bettyanne and then give your name. If your post is drawn we can both win a free 6 month subscription. The contest ends tomorrow night (Sunday, May 2nd) so don't miss out.

Goin' Bananas

I had so much fun today working on this 2 page layout of my precious Grandson Jacob. He is almost 10 months old now but he was 2 1/2 months when the pictures were taken. I spent the most time trying to find monkeys to use and finally ended up using special stickers I had plus some paper piecing. In the 2nd picture Jacob's little hand was in just the perfect position and I was able to cut carefully around his little fingers and put the banana sticker in his hand so it looks like he is holding it.

Cards I made in class

I went to Memory Lane, my local scrapbook store for a card class this week. Linda McDonald, who I had the pleasure of meeting at the crops held at the store, is a fantastic card maker. She does it for her own pleasure and to give to friends and realitives. She has taught a couple of card classes lately and these are the two amazing cards she taught us to make. Both use the cuttlebug and shapeabilitie dies. I wish I had her amagination when it comes to making cards. I can't wait to see what card class idea she comes up with next month.
